SO Thailand Delegation won 15 gold, 12 Silver and 6 Bronze at the 2019 Special Olympics World Summer Games in Abu Dhabi in March. The team of 45 athletes competed in Athletics, Badminton, Bocce, Football, Table Tennis and Swimming.
Special Olympics Thailand hosted the inaugural S.O. Asia Pacific Unified Badminton Championships in November 2019. With Partnership from the Badminton Association of Thailand and support from the Sports Authority of Thailand, over a hundred of players from fourteen delegations competed in exciting matches and forged new friendships.
